Lab Safety

Posted on

It is very  important to know your science lab safety before doing any experiment. There are a few key points about lab safety you should know about, like never taste, smell, or touch anything without permission or knowing that the chemical is not dangerous. Any time there is a fire on one of your peers, most of the time there will be a fire blanket somewhere in the classroom, and if so use the blanket to block the oxygen from spreading the fire. If there is a fire on a piece of paper or other material use a fire extinguisher or put something on top of the fire to automatically put it out. If one of your peers or you has a minor burn or chemical spill ALWAYS wash it out so  they do not get any infection. Remember to wear goggles, lab coats, and gloves to keep your body safe. Thank you.
